Education:

2014    Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, MS in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology

2010    University of Mazandaran, Babol, Iran, BS in Chemical Engineering/Food Industry

While studying for my B.Sc. in chemical engineering at the University of Mazandaran in Iran, I developed a particular interest in biochemistry and biotechnology. I received my M.Sc. in chemical engineering with a focus on biotechnology from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. Following graduation, I joined a pharmaceutical company as a cell culture upstream expert, specialized in monoclonal antibody production using CHO cells. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology (BMEBT) program under the supervision of Prof. Jia. My research focuses on the SERINC antagonization mechanism by HIV-1 Nef and designing HTS screening assays to identify inhibitors against Nef. Outside of research, I watch and play soccer (a die-hard Liverpool fan). Listening to music and watching movies are my other hobbies.
