As of my training in science, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Minnesota State University. I then worked as a chemist in industry for a few years. I am currently working toward my PhD degree in biochemistry. My research focuses on HIV structural biology. I was very humble and honored to have been selected as one of 12 NESACS delegates to present my research in Germany in 2019.

As a person, I’m a total believer of “work hard play hard”. In my spare time, I am adventurous and eager to experience new things and beauties in life. One of my life goals is to hike all national parks in the USA. Also, Krav Maga became my passion recently as I enjoy kicking people’s asses J. As much as I like to be active, I also like to chill by reading books at home.
